Music will be furnished by The AZ Swing Kings Big Band, for entertainment and dancing. Location – Kachina Ballroom – Sun Village Community, 17240 N. Sun Village Pkwy, Surprise 85374 – Open to the Public.
Cost for show/dance and desert bar will be $50 per person, limited to the first 200 persons. Each ticket will also create a $40 tax credit toward AZ state income tax. Chef Peter’s onsite restaurant will offer a discount to ticket holders who might want to make it a complete evening and have dinner before the show.

The AZ Swing Kings is a 19-piece big band including a vocalist. The group consists of professional all-star musicians who play the authentic sounds of the famous bands who represented the swing and jazz eras. The band is directed by Lenny King, founder and former leader of the Chicago Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra. The Swing Kings are available to provide music for shows, dances, and entertainment for public and private events. Now accepting dates in 2022, and 2023. We are sponsored by the Sun City Grand Music Club.

Our biggest public attraction is an exquisitely manicured, 18-hole, par 3, walking golf course and pro shop. Just outside our walls, and a short stroll away, you will find the Surprise Stadium; the Spring Training ground for the Texas Rangers, and the Kansas City Royals. Across the street from the baseball complex, is a 25-court tennis & racquet complex that is home to national and international tournaments. The Maricopa Regional Library, Aquatic Center, fenced dog parks, and a large community park with a fishing lake are also part of this fantastic recreational area. With the numerous onsite amenities, tons of nearby shopping, entertainment, and sporting facilities, sit-down, and quick-service restaurants surrounding Sun Village, there is hardly ever a need to leave the area!
